Johan Ernst Nilson asked ”what else is there to concur when the North- and South pole was concurred in 1909 and 1911? Nilson started his expedition pole2pole the 6th of april 2011 from the North Pole, the same day as Robert E. Peary 102 years earlier concurred the pole. The goal of the swedish expedition is to travel from the North Pole to the South pole in one year. Nilson and his expedition left the North Pole on skies headed for Greenland. From Greenland they continued by boat sailing to Canada, from where they continued on bike towards the South. If their trips is not enough of a challenge a red hurricane alert has been announced in Guatemala were the men are at this moment. You can follow the men on http://www.pole2pole.net/
