Groups

Visiting Nanoq with a buss full of people is popular. Here at the museum visitors walk through Arctic and Antarctic history, either on their own or guided by the knowledgeable guides.

To get the most out of the visit, whether it is a school class, group of seniors, a company or a group of friends, we recommend you to contact us in advance. All groups are welcome to make a wish about the direction of the guiding; we will do our best to tailor the visit according to your wishes. A few examples: A group of women – Women in the Arctic’s, a class visiting on their art class – Arctic art, a congregation – the life and believes in the Arctic cultures.

For groups larger than 10 people we grant a discount of 10 % of the entrace fee. The entrance fee includes guiding. In the summer there are four guides working at the museum. For groups we recommend that you book in advance to make sure a guide is available for you at your arrival. On the museum ground there is a café and different kinds of small snacks can be arranged if ordered in advance. The buss may be left on the parking lot by the Pörkenäsvägen, from where you have a few minutes of lovely walking through the Ostrobothnian forest until you reach the museum.

If visiting outside opening hours we charge a minimum entrance fee of 80 € (= a group of 10 people)
