Nanoq is looking for ambassadors who represent the museum's values ​​and who can help spread awareness of the museum and its history. The ambassadors can also act as references in various contexts.

NANOQ'S FRIENDS

Wednesdays at 6 PM

Nanoq’s friends is a volunteer group that meets on Wednesdays at the museum and works together for the betterment of the museum. The group is led by Mikaela Kurula and Christian Gunnar.

By becoming a member of the Nanoq association, you support the museum's continued operations, contribute to spreading knowledge about polar regions and expeditions, and help strengthen the local community and tourism in Jakobstad. Nanoq is Finland's first Arctic museum, and your involvement – ​​as a member, partner, donor or through advocacy efforts – helps to preserve and develop the museum's operations and mission.
