This Summer's Special Exhibition: Through the Eyes of the Gyrfalcon

There is still time to see this summer’s special exhibition at Nanoq! Although the summer season is slowly coming to an end, Through the Eyes of the Gyrfalcon will remain on display at Nanoq Arctic Museum for a few more weeks.

The photographic exhibition explores the impact of climate change on the Barents Region, an area covering the northern parts of Finland, Sweden, Norway and Russia. Through photography, visitors can discover some of the changes taking place in a region where the climate is changing rapidly and where both nature and biodiversity are being affected.

Through the Eyes of the Gyrfalcon was created as part of the Finnish Environment Institute’s (Syke) project Impacts of Climate Change on Biodiversity in the Barents Region (BARIMS).

The exhibition is a travelling exhibition, and we are very proud to have the opportunity to present it at Nanoq. It can be found on the first floor of the main building and will remain part of our summer programme for a few more weeks.

The last day to see the exhibition is 28 August.
